3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
In a medium bowl, cream together shortening and brown sugar until well blended. Stir in the flour, butter, 1 cup chocolate chips. Beat in the pecans.
FILLING: In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, brown sugar, 1 cup flour, chocolate chips and chopped pecans. Mix well and pour over chocolate filling. Refrigerate to chill for at least 4 hours.
