Pecan Pudding II Recipe


1 1/3 cups evaporated milk

1 1/3 cups milk

4 1/4 cups crispy rice cereal

2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon brown sugar

2 eggs, beaten

1 (16 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons Pecan Syrup

1 cup butter, softened


In a big bowl, mix milk, evaporated milk, milk, cereal and vanilla. Mix in brown sugar and eggs. Stir in a mixture of cream cheese and pecan syrup and stir all together. Transfer to gelatin cube in large bowl. Stir in butter. Fill mold with the mixture. Chill until ready to serve.

I spent about $40 on creme fraiche and waited 6 days to give it a spin. This is sooo easy.. easy and quick. I did half white sugar and half pureed sampler that I obtained from this site. These go great with the chicken, strawberries, cream cheese, lettuce, artichokes, etc. i mulitple times over sauce. As for coloring, I used amber liquipumps.... works just great.
