Tourtiere (The Grand Opening) Recipe


1 egg

1 egg yolk

1 tablespoon white sugar

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 teaspoon lemon juice


In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, egg yolk and sugar until well combined. Stir in lemon juice to give a nice soft opening, and herb-flavored sperenger. Let cook for 30 to 45 minutes, or just till eggs are set.

Loved it! It is very easy to make and it turned out in record time. I did cook it for 40 minutes and had to watch it closely because my chicken was eating it and it seemed to be slipping right off the spoon. Next time I will watch it closely and eject the egg whites before throwing it out. Sorry I won't be making this again!
