Chocolate Pecan Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups butter, softened

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1/4 cup buttermilk

2 eggs, beaten

3 cups chopped pecans

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese frosting

1/2 cup dark rum

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch round pan.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and 1/4 cup buttermilk until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the pecans. Beat in the cream cheese frosting, rum and vanilla. Press mixture into the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 500 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean.
