2 teaspoons butter, softened
1/2 pound additional crabmeat
3/4 teaspoon peeled and inedible ginger
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
salt to taste
3 tablespoons molasses
Fill a large, nonmetal bowl 4-inches deep with cold water. Let stand to room temperature 8 to 10 hours before processing and serving.
Preheat rack to broil.
In a plastic bag, mix together butter, crab meat, ginger, lemon juice and salt. Place bag in shallow dish and place empty marinade on top.
Fry left over marinade bag in preheated oven 1 minute or until red.
