1 quart water
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup dried parsley
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried sage
2 tablespoons dried basil
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
In a large saucepan, combine water, butter, parsley, onion, garlic, oregano, thyme, rosemary, sage, basil, rosemary and basil and saute over medium heat. Stirring constantly, cook until seasoning is well incorporated. Reduce heat to medium, and add lemon juice, mustard, salt, pepper and lemon slices. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer about 10 minutes.
