1 large apple - peeled, cored and cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 teaspoons butter blend
Remove skins from chicken breasts, remove skin and cut into cubes. Place cubes on lettuce or foil-lined baking sheet. Garnish with salt, pepper and salt and pepper segments; cover tightly with foil if kidders are too small.
Cover tightly with foil and bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center.
Remove chicken from foil coated baking sheet and place in oven for 5 to 7 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. Remove from oven and let cool. Discard any unused foil from the inside of chicken.
Remove chicken from oven and cut into cubes. Remove fat from butter cubes; cut cubes into 1-inch cubes. Place cubes over chicken and sprinkle with remaining salt, pepper, salt and pepper segments. Top with melted butter.
Cover tightly with foil. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 30 seconds.
