1 cup white sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest extract
In a medium saucepan, heat sugar 1 cup oil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in milk. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Stir in eggs, vanilla, lemon zest, lemon zest and lemon zest. Remove from heat. Pour mixture into saucepan and stir in sugar mixture. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and pour mixture over cream. Heat slowly for 1 minute. Serve chilled or piping hot.
