Warm Italian Beef Stew Recipe

Ingredients

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons Italian-style seasoning

1 1/2 pounds lean beef roasts

1 onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1 15 ounce can tomato paste

1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

4 cups beef stock

Directions

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add Italian-style seasoning, onion, garlic and tomato paste. Mix these well. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, beef stock and tomato paste. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 1 hour or until beef is tender. Remove from heat and stir seasoning mixture into beef stock. Restarting meat in hot water may remove from the seasoning mixture if liquid is left.
