Italian Meatballs IV Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds lean ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 (5 ounce) can tomato paste

2/3 cup water

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

3 (1/2 pound) hamburger buns

2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place beef in a large skillet and fry until evenly brown. Drain and set aside

Melt 2 tablespoons olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic for about 1 minute, stirring. Pour in tomato paste, water, parsley, hamburger and Italian seasoning. Mix well, then add salt, oregano, basil and rosemary. Mix well and pour mixture into meat ball or meat container.

Fry buns in preheated oven until brown on both sides. Cool on a sheet of waxed paper. Carefully cut them into 4 squares.
