1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1/3 cup pumpkin puree
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon margarine
1/3 cup pumpkin puree
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and pumpkin until smooth. Beat in the cream cheese, cream cheese, pumpkin and margarine. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in the pumpkin mixture until well blended. Fold in the whipped topping. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared cookie crumb crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
