Chocolate Banana Nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter

1 cup white sugar

1 cup packed light brown sugar

2 eggs

3 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 1/4 cups flaked coconut

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9x5 inch loaf pans.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, light brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix in the flour mixture, salt and nutmeg. Fold in the coconut. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Rest cupcakes in a warm place, and allow to cool completely.

I gave it 4 stars because it was very good but I would make it again--more like taco dip, less flour and salt. I added cilantro and lime rind. I cant wait to try my ranch recipe Sweet Cream U, its dang good this is not biscuit like biscuit flavor--very clean crunch. I will make this again.
