1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup water
1 medium onion, sliced and quartered
1 small green bell pepper, diced
1 medium marinated sweet onion, quartered
3 tablespoons dried minced onion
6 ounces lean cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium pan, place beef and 1/2 cup water over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir in onions and herbs and cook for 2 minutes. Return beef to a boil, reduce heat, and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in peppers, and cook for another minute.
Stir in onions and cheese. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour steaming hot steaming water into pan.
Place steaming water in pot to simmer on medium heat until thickened. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stirring well, continue to serve around slow cooker or en/pot.
