1 pound beef chuck
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
proper salt and pepper, 4 ounces
3 tablespoons butter, melted
In a small skillet over medium heat, mix the garlic powder, garlic salt, basil, salt, paprika, melted butter, and butter. Bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat to medium-low and add both sides of skewers. Add meat and garlic, and cook for 10 minutes on each side. Render, not liquid, and cook for 3 minutes more. Turn, and cook 3 minutes more. Remove skewers, and reserve.
