I made this shortly after the release of my book "Cooking With Image" (Basic Books, 1996). The recipe looked like something I would find at a farmers market. It turned out great! I put it in the fridge and had leftover cranberries so I used that to make a whipped cream pavilion for the pavlovskich. It was delicious and the cranberries were the brainchild of my husband! They were simply wonderful! I will make this again!

I think the recipe as written is fine, but as a strength training enthusiast, I did increase the amount of protein you add to the diet. I did this because I wanted to add more muscle to my diet, but my wife doesn't like almond or almond pieces, so I won't add them to the diet. I think the recipe is good, but I may try it once more and add chicken or shrimp instead of almonds.
