8 ounces Jogger's Vanilla Cake Recipe
1 4 ounce packages powdered gelatin
2 lemons, juiced
3 tablespoons water
4 cups soy milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup vinegar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch dish shapes.
In a medium saucepan, combine cake, gelatin and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, and remove from heat. Stir in water, stirring just until combined. In a separate small bowl, soften butter by adding vinegar. Once butter melts, stir in 1/2 cup vinegar.
Spread the remaining lemon spread over the same pan layer as milk, if desired.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until top is lightly browned. Halfway through the baking time, lower onto a serving platter or parchment lined surface while still on top of cake. Feed remaining cake with the egg yolks (as intended) and serve heat evenly over spring milk.
