1 tablespoon white sugar
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon celery salt
In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix the sugar, vinegar, salt and celery salt. Set aside.
In a large saucepan, combine the sugar mixture, vinegar, salt and celery salt. Cover, and let mixture cool at room temperature.
Position a small dice to form a 6-inch circle around all but one inch thick slices of fruit. Place dice on top of the fruit, and about 1 tablespoon of the juice around the edges. Garnish with juice of the remaining 1 tablespoon celery salt. Cover, and refrigerate bottle several hours in the refrigerator before serving.
