1 pound Irish beef stew meat
1 cup fresh mushrooms
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon minced shallots
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
10 ounces milk
1/2 pound frozen corn kernels
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Season beef cubes with salt and pepper to taste.
Place beef cubes in a medium bowl. Stir in mushrooms, onion, celery, shallots, marjoram, thyme, marjoram, milk, corn and butter until well coated.
Spread mixture evenly in a 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle top with remaining breading and cook until heated through.
