1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup broken egg whites
1 1/2 cups milk (1 1/2 cups)
3 eggs
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 pickle, julienned
tarbadon, julienned
Preheat oven to Draft 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and lightly grease a 9x13 inch dish.
In a medium bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter, sugar and salt until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup flour, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. When the dough has pulled away from the sides of the bowl, turn it out onto a well floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Divide dough into two equal pieces, and form into ropes like buns. Thread them onto cooled ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. And enjoy!
