1/2 cup soy sauce
1 (16 ounce) can stew-style beef
1 slice green onion
1 red onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
salt and pepper to taste
In a medium-size pot, bring soy sauce and beef to a boil; reduce heat and stir in green onions and celery. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add onion and celery and oil, saute for 2 minutes. Mix in mustard, reserving 1/2 cup soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Cook about 10 to 12 minutes, to marinate green onions.
