1 pound ground turkey
1 pound ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 1/2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon dried maraschino cherry juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons minced onion
Preheat grill or broiler.
Place turkey, beef and onion in slow cooker. Return to slow cooker. Cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, tossing occasionally. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix the celery, bell pepper, green bell pepper, water, thyme, rosemary, oregano, rosemary, garlic powder, onion and salt. Add the turkey mixture. Mix well.
Spoon the turkey mixture into a small saucepan. The mixture will be thick. Add the tomatoes, apple or plum tomatoes, carrots, celery, onion, celery mixture and cherry juice. Mix well.
Pour the turkey mixture over the meat. Place the meat in the slow cooker, and cover with the parsley. Season with salt, olive oil, thyme, mustard, maraschino cherry juice, salt, olive oil, black pepper, parsley and onion.
Cover, and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
