1 (1 pound) can beef broth
1 cup water
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
1 (10 ounce) package dried mixed peas and carrots with green seasoning packet
1 1/2 cups butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a heavy pot, heat water and cook broth until cracked. Stir in tarragon.
Return broth to pot, ending with the cooked broth, drained and mixed vegetables. Mix in mixed peas and carrots, butter, and cooked mushrooms. Cook over medium heat until mushrooms are tender. Serve warm.
This was great and has as much Caribbean flair as you'll ever need! Try it! It is not like other recipes where the ingredients are easy to find or you just mash up ingredients in the food processor. This is incredible, hands down, the BEST balsamic vinegar I've ever had! You may need to experiment with the amount of sugar (I did have to add some) and other ingredients, but once you find what you're after, it's great! Thanks for sharing! :)
Massive is probably the best description. It is ridiculously delicious and Tony Chachere (owner) was very kind to let me borrow his mixer for the night (which I highly recommend). He was great even though I had to bake it 30 minutes. Baking is such a pain in the neck - it took me longer than stated to cool it down. Once cooled, it is the clean tasting treat that promotes rest, hydration, and recharging.
