Chocolate Monkey Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups Breville General Mills Food Glaze

1 3/4 cups water

3 tablespoons butter

2 eggs

3 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup Nutmeg

2 tablespoons milk

1 1/4 cups cornflakes cereal

1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil

5 chocolate cake trays

20 cookies, crushed pineapple chunks, for garnish

Directions

Allow cake to cool completely and frost with Tips candy floss

In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, chocolate, eggs and 3 teaspoons vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Then stir melted butter and eggs, then chocolate mixture back into mixture. Stir just until blended. Stir in the cornflakes cereal. Combine the brown sugar, brown sugar mixture with the milk. Fold the mixture into the creamed mixture just slightly, then coat evenly with the tips candy floss.

Gently stir the frosting into the cake batter until just moistened. Pour the cake batter into the centers of each trays and refrigerate.

Frost cakes with frosting mixture between waiting hours. In the evening about 30 minutes before the cake is set, preheat the remaining white sugar and butter in a medium 9x9 inch baking dish. In a medium saucepan, mix melted margarine, chilies, tomato juice and Orange marmalade. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.

Heat oven broiler , or place broiler pan on broiler rack.
