Apple Pie VIII Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (9 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 cup white sugar

1 cup applesauce

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter

2 eggs

1 egg yolk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the pineapple, milk chocolate and sugar; beat until well blended. Stir in applesauce and nuts. Mix in white sugar, apple mixture, butter, eggs, egg yolk. Mix well, and pour mixture into crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Chill before serving.
