1 cup brown lentils
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black
1 tablespoon whole green beans - coarsely chopped
1 cup red roasted bean paste
1 cup uncooked French bread crumbs
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 cup blending cereal for garnish
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a 4 quart casserole dish combine lentils, salt, and ground black. Some people like to add the whole green beans... some people enjoy the coarsely chopped lentils with the dried green beans.
In a bread and cracker crumb mixture press all the dry ingredients on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish and combine .
Bake in the preheat oven for 45 minutes. Serve with the cereal for warm toast.
