Cocoa Mocha Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup milk

2/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup cocoa

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 egg yolks

Directions

In a medium saucepan, warm milk until bubbly, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar, cocoa, and vanilla. Stir until creamy. Let cool to lukewarm, about 10 minutes. Spread in a 9 inch tall glass or metal pie pan. Chill overnight before serving.

Beat egg yolks in a small bowl until foamy. Then pour yolk mixture over milk mixture in a thin stream. Chill in refrigerator until serving.

I made this for Easter, is it good? No, but my son loved it. He kept asking for the recipe. I gave it to him with the recipe but I would have dropped the oregano before trying it. I would have given more stars, fewer words and leaves than said, it was e-x-p-e-n-s-i-v-e-s. It was very easy to make. I kept it in my collection. I will not be needing that sauce packet ever again.
