3/4 cup milk
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 egg yolks
In a medium saucepan, warm milk until bubbly, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar, cocoa, and vanilla. Stir until creamy. Let cool to lukewarm, about 10 minutes. Spread in a 9 inch tall glass or metal pie pan. Chill overnight before serving.
Beat egg yolks in a small bowl until foamy. Then pour yolk mixture over milk mixture in a thin stream. Chill in refrigerator until serving.
