1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
6 (10 ounce) cans tomato paste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon dried sage
1 pound pork sausage links
1 pound lean ground pork
1 pound Swiss cheese, diced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown. Drain excess fat and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine tomato paste, brown sugar, sage, onion, pork and sausage. Stir together. Pour over beef mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 minutes, or until meatballs are puffed and cooked through.
