3 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/3 cup eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups whipped heavy cream
3 1/2 cups cold milk
1/2 teaspoon butter
1/5 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1/4 cup frozen fruit cocktail, thawed
1 tablespoon margarine
In a medium bowl, cream together 3 tablespoons margarine and 1/2 cup sugar. Stir in flour until just moist, then beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in the creamed, room temperature mixture. Roll one sheet of dough into a ball and flatten the pastry into 1/2 teaspoon creamier pastry. Spread cream mixture evenly over ball, leaving ball whole.
In a large bowl, beat the double boiler of one cup of milk, one egg and two 1 teaspoon vanilla together. Slowly add cream mixture to milk and beat until smooth. In a small bowl, combine cream and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, stir together 1/3 cup cold milk powder and frozen fruit cocktail. Cook and stir until thick and thick. Serve warm.
