1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup stout beer
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons orange zest
5 fluid ounces lemon juice
1 cup apple juice
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add milk and stir. Cook, stirring often, until sauce thickens; remove from heat.
For the glaze: In a 3 quart glass or plastic container, combine stout beer, fruit juice, orange juice and apple juice. Pour mixture over slavedre. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
