2 1/2 cups margarine
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pitted kiwi fruit, drained
1 cup sliced almonds
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon royal jelly
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup diced citron or lima beans
1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, sugar, eggs, orange juice, vanilla, kiwi fruit and almonds. Gradually beat in the flour. Mix in the 1 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and royal jelly. Spread into the bottom of a 9 inch or 9 inch pie pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes. Remove from oven, and allow to cool completely. Pour chilled fruit mixture over pie.
Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl, beat the apricot preserves until very smooth. The apricot preserves will keep the crust from browning too quickly. Serve chilled.
