Italian Lamb Shanks Recipe

Ingredients

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons dried oregano

2 tablespoons dried basil

3 teaspoons dried marjoram

1 small bunch green onions, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 tablespoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried marjoram

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 teaspoon dried marjoram

Directions

In a large bowl, warm olive oil, garlic, oregano, basil, marjoram, green onions, bell pepper and sage. Mix well and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Stir in onion and bell pepper; simmer for about 5 minutes and serve.

I didn't follow the recipe exactly... I didn't use apricots because I don't like them and didn't have them. I used strawberries, raspberries, and strawberries; Heavily reduced the sugar so it was just right. And I wanted more protein so I added whey protein powder. My husband loved it and said it was the best thing he's ever made. I will make this again--a thousand times.
