2 cups milk
2 1/2 cups sweetened milk
2 eggs
5 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
4 whole grounds
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
In a blender or food processor, combine milk, syrup, eggs, cup butter or margarine, vanilla extract, salt, ground nutmeg, whisk until smooth. Fold in the flour mixture. Transfer to medium bowl.
Coat a large metal bowl with cooking spray, place milk mixture in pan, 4 inches from bottom and up sides.
Bake uncovered in the preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes per minute. Remove pan from oven, place on cooling rack and continue cooking, uncovered, until the filling is set, 1 to 2 minutes.
