3/4 cup white sugar

3/4 cup butter, softened

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth, then stir in the cream cheese. I changed the proportions on the peppers to taste, and used black peppercorns instead of cayenne. I sort of wished they had added onion powder, because it really turned out nice and delicious. I had some shredded swiss cheese with them, and made ahead of time by wrapping the whole roll in aluminum foil and placing it in the refrigerator. Perfect! I brought it to work for lunch and got rave reviews. Pretty tornado resistant.

Very moist and yummy! I would give it a try with darker colors. I would use a brownie mix instead.

Very easy and tasty! I may tweak it a little according to individual taste. Thanks for sharing!

Boring, Boring. You need something to inspire you, you know? A bit of white chocolate, a bit of brown sugar, a dash of nutmeg, and a dash of cinnamon. For the crust, I substituted brown sugar for half the sugar, and made a simple but tasty biscuit. This is just a bit too cakey for my taste, and the strawberries would probably mellow down without the chocolate, but the end result was tasty and fruity enough to eat.
