Butter Chicken with Mint Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

3 teaspoons salt

6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - skin removed, cut into bite-size pieces

1 1/2 cups mint leaves

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon white sugar

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1/4 cup butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic, salt and onion until tender. Slowly cook and stir in flour, sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, milk, and 1 teaspoon flour. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Stir in chicken, and pour into skillet.

Cook over medium heat until all liquid is absorbed and mixture is no longer pink-colored. Remove from heat, and stir in milk and butter. Stir until mixture thickens. Stir in chicken, and pour into prepared baking dish.

Bake, covered, in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
