1 (9 inch) prepared strawberry dish
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, chopped
3/4 cup evaporated milk
6 slices fresh pineapple, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). In large bowl, combine the ripe fruit, water, pineapple, sugar, and salt. Mix well then quickly stir in 1/2 cup of the pineapple.
Cover pie shell and refrigerate overnight or more than 24 hours.
