3 cups baking mix
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
1 cup apples, cored, fine white or flaked
1 cup mashed ripe pears
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). In large bowl, cream together the baking mix and eggs until smooth. Gradually stir in the remaining sugar, water and apples. Pour into pie shell and sprinkle remaining cookie mixture over top.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking for 30 minutes, or until just set in center. Let cool before serving.
