Cheese Dip I Recipe

Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped celery

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

2 eggs

1/4 cup milk

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Mix in the onion, celery, bell pepper and eggs. Mix in the milk. Spread mixture into a 3 inch square waxed paper-lined pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake about 15 minutes more, or until cheeses are bubbly and mixture is golden brown.

In a small mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese mixture and cheese sauce. Mix well to form a jelly-like consistency. Place over medium heat in oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes.

While cheeses are baking, stir together the cream cheese mixture, cream cheese sauce and cream cheese mixture into a great spread. Serve with a slice of fruit. Garnish with grape preserves if desired.
