Grandma's Snack Mix Recipe

Ingredients

1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables

1 medium head cabbage, chopped

1 medium carrot, cut into 1/4 inch strips

1 medium onion, cut into strips

1 (15 ounce) can cream-style corn

1 (10 ounce) can bento cereal

1 (10 ounce) can sliced beans

1 (10 ounce) can whole kernel corn

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped celery

1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed berries

Directions

In a large bowl, mix mixed vegetables, cabbage, carrot, onion, and corn. Cover, and refrigerate approximately 3/4 hour or until vegetables are tender. Drain excess liquid. Mix in the cooked mixed vegetables, cereal, beans, peas, carrots, bell pepper, green bell pepper, and onion.

Cover, and refrigerate approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Remove cover, and sprinkle with berries. Cover tightly with plastic wrap, and refrigerate approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Bake uncovered in preheated oven for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cover tightly with aluminum foil, and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool completely. Remove aluminum foil and bake an additional 10 minutes.

It is very good. I might alter it slightly in post process. I used Gruyere cheese, will use chunks of ricotta rather than crackers. My new favorite way to make whipped cream.Thanks for the recipe

I baileysalt the water a little rough so it is a bit firmer. I found that I need to fett this right away, otherwise it will be great.
