Gooey Whiskey Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter

1 cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups milk

8 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 egg, beaten

3 tablespoons milk

1/3 cup Cajun seasoning

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Mix in the vanilla, milk, flour, cinnamon, salt, baking soda and vanilla. Mix in whipping cream. Combine egg and milk, mix into the creamed mixture.

Drop dough by spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, depending on the thickness of the dough. Cookies will darken slightly during the baking. Cool on waxed paper, let cool completely on wire racks or refrigerate overnight.
