1 pound lean ground beef
1 red onion, chopped
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons celery seed
4 hamburger buns
2 (4 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 tablespoons prepared Dijon mustard
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup grilled cheese, sliced
1/2 cup ketchup
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (4 ounce) can pimento peppers, drained
1 cup chopped onion
Preheat grill for high heat.
Place beef pierces on a large barbecue or grill rack.
Brush beef with Worcestershire, garlic powder, dry mustard and salt. Add celery seed, tomato sauce, Dijon mustard, Cheddar cheese and grilled cheese. Place on grill, turning frequently.
Grill 15 minutes per side, or until burger is well done and buns are high in fat. Season with ketchup, vinegar, tomato sauce and pimento peppers.
Remove lid from grill, and grill 5 minutes per side.
