1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine mushrooms and onions. Mix in the paprika, oregano, salt, crushed red pepper, basil, rosemary and bread flour. Mix together with hands. Pour mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove pan from oven and let cool to room temperature. Let cool completely before removing from loaf pan.
Place loaf pan in a shallow dish or bowl, and pour warm water over loaf. Boil bread until it is cool enough to touch, and remove from pan. Remove from pan. Refrigerate loaf overnight before cutting into slices.
