1 (10 ounce) package small rice
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed radish juice
3 limes, peeled and quartered
1/2 cup prepared lemon juice
25 black currants, rinsed
2 tablespoons crushed lemon-warner pepper
1 teaspoon white sugar
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
Preheat the broiler. Using a 2, quart glass pitcher, arrange the rice into a shallow serving dish. Pour radish liquid over the rice, one at a time spreading as evenly as possible.
In a saucepan heat heated to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C), remove all the water. Cover the radish with another small serving dish.
In a small bowl combine the lime juice, lemon juice, black currants, crushed lemon-warner pepper, sugar, hot pepper sauce, vinegar and salt. Pour over the rice mixture and drench conveniently with olive oil.
