2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon zest
5 ounces fresh lemon grass clippings
Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream 1 ounce butter, sugar and 1/2 cup water. Mix together with lemon juice. Quickly beat in lemon zest and lemon grass clippings to give a "sugar-recipe."
Refrigerate and serve chilled.
