1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, stir together flour, salt and sugar. Stir in 1/2 cup butter, and pour into a shallow baking pan.
Bake 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Remove from oven and turn out onto a wire rack. Carefully remove 1 sheet of parchment paper from the center of the cake.
