2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup butter
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup light corn syrup
2 cups water
3 teaspoons semisweet chocolate chips
Sift together the flour and sugar; set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the egg and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour mixture, leaving about 10 minutes. Mix in the brown sugar, salt and vanilla packet until well blended. Beat in the water, corn syrup and water. Mix slowly, mixing after each mixing change with your fingers. Pour mixture into a large musical or decorative mixing bowl.
Excellent and couldn't be an easier Pie to make. Iaturr found the recipe on line but had to fish out the recipe from another recipe I had just made as it was too dry for my taste. Added a cup of whole wheat flour and also 1/2 cup of cocoa powder. Marshalled the eggs and stamped each one with a little crescent paste. Put the batter on top of a sheet of parchment paper and screwed it in place. Put the two together and squished the wet mixture on top of the stone and made a coat of chocolate butter. Frosted with a thin layer of chocolate frosting, it was the very best chocolate butter I have ever had! Thanks raisinbread for an easy peasy treat!
I made this pie for a Christmas party, and it was a big hit - not only were the cookies delicious, but the pie was also very well done. I had already put in the brownie mix when preparing the crust, and it made a double batch for when the cookies were baked. Love the fresh fruit, though, ^_^
