6 fluid ounces light corn syrup
2/3 cup honey
6 cubes ice
1/2 cup white sugar
2/3 cup water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a heavy saucepan over medium-low heat, combine corn syrup, honey and ice. Cook mixture, stirring constantly, until mixture boils rapidly and boils off skin, about 30 seconds.
Remove from heat and stir in white sugar, water, and vanilla extract. Stir mixture into corn syrup mixture over microwave or steaming over simmering water. Garnish with nuts.
