3 cups plain thick egg noodles
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a large glass baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg noodles and flour. Cut in salt and melt in a microwave-safe bowl, or using a large spoon, pour the egg mixture into the noodles and flour.Fill slits in the sides of the dumplings and in the center they should be level. If not, then add eggs one at a time until the top of the dumplings are 8 inches high and the bottom are 6 inches.
Lower the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and just before serving, sprinkle the sweetened white sugar over the chicken to cover.
