10 apples
2 ounces ham, thinly sliced
1 medium tomato, cut in 1/2
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
Place apples and ham in a medium bowl. Melt butter in skillet or frying pan over medium heat; add tomatoes; cook for 2 minutes or until tomato is tender. Stir the egg mixture into the apple mixture. Simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes or until soft.
Remove sauce from pan; cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Drizzle over the crisp center of each sandwich. Serve warm.
