2 (16 ounce) cans chicken broth
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup cold water
1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon-lime soda
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried paprika
1 (12 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
In a medium bowl, mix the chicken broth, cornstarch, water, vinegar, salt, lemon soda, basil, garlic powder, paprika and cheese. Chill cubes in refrigerator for 2 hours, stirring occasionally, to blend flavors. Serve over frozen mixed vegetables or slices of toast.
