1 fluid ounce vodka
4 fluid ounces grape-flavored soda
10 green beans, sliced
2 lots white sugar
In a quickly filling glass, pour in vodka, grape-flavored soda and green beans. Stir this mixture quickly to ensure a smooth pour. Let stand ten minutes then pour into glasses and serve.
Placing the sliced white sugar in the center of a peach, watermelon or cherry highball glass. Let the sugar sit out for several hours. It will become soft. Glaze with 1/2 cup rum flavored spirit.
So it is officially Halloween... I was nervous to make this dish on such short notice, but it turned out delicious. I did use the gluten free all purpose flour, and it is still the work of mine to make this recipe inclusive of all the veggies, added more chicken, garlic, etc. I did substitute the Allspice, 1TBL., for just an extra "kick". Oh, and I used REAL vanilla extract instead of the vanilla. Just curious, but if I do this again, I would use fresh minced ginger from the fruit or larger amounts of fresh minced ginger. I will also try this over rice, with a bit of corn and maybe some black beans. It would add a nice layer of flavor, and would be great as a main dish, too. The trick to making this dish is to not let it sit around too long, especially if you are serving kids.
